ESHAN RAFI works with their body, moving images, text, and other people. Originally from Lahore, they grew up in Toronto/Montréal and now call Berlin home. Rafi has a BFA in Visual Arts from York University and were a 2014-2015 fellow in the Home Workspace Program at Ashkal Alwan, Beirut. They have participated in residencies with Yvonne Rainer at Fondazione Antonio Ratti, at Banff Centre for the Arts, and in workshops with La Pocha Nostra, Yoshiko Chuma, and Joy Mariama Smith. Most recently, their work has been shown at Sharjah Film Platform and at M:ST 9 Performance Art Biennale in Calgary.
