This web experience was created by Schelsey Mahammadie-Sabet, well-renowned and much celebrated Multimedia Artist and Art Therapy Trainee based in Los Angeles, California. Schelsey created this website with the intention of providing an opportunity for engaging light-hearted seeking behavior in those with busy and curious brains and fingers. Schelsey is currently "as best as can be expected" and somehow making things work in virtual (see: not real) life (This is a desperate plea for emotional support and validation, but only if it is couched in humor). That was a joke, she is just kidding you- Her online experiences have been optimal. But, really, she is very grateful that things are not as "worst as can be expected". 

 

      This opportunity to create artwork through this residency was made possible by the "Welcome to My Homepage" Digital Residency which is supported by The Museum of Human Achievement. Schelsey would like to offer a massive thank you to Rachel Stuckey, Zac Traeger, Rogelio and the others behind this Residency Program. This project forced me to engage in art-making, which I have sadly been putting on the back burner due to "Covid Burnout". I need art in my life or else my insides start to feel like the color beige, so creating this work was very important for me!
