The sun is enlightenment, joy, calm, desires and goals fulfilled. For many cultures in the history of humanity it is associated with the greater divinity, with the creator of the universe. The sun shines for all and is the eternal fire that keeps us alive.

The sun is also incandescent and seeing it directly with your eyes blurs your vision. If you try to grasp it as you grasp a material object, you burn and immolate yourself. The only way to understand it is spiritually.
